Rosa’s Abode – Milford Terraces

Location Location Bangalore, India

Category Category Restoration & Modernization

Tucked away in one of Koramangala’s quieter lanes, Rosa’s Home was more than just a renovation — it was a homecoming. When Rosa and Kiran first approached us, they had a simple dream: to breathe new life into their old ground-floor home without losing its soul. They envisioned a space where mornings could start with coffee in the garden, where weekends could be spent under a gazebo with friends, and where every corner felt calm, open, and truly theirs.

What stood originally was a compact, traditional layout — beautiful in its memories, but constrained in function. We saw the potential for something more: a seamless indoor-outdoor sanctuary that embraced both nature and nostalgia.

The Space

The transformation began with structure. We extended the hall to create a larger, more breathable living area — letting in light, air, and ease. The kitchen was completely redesigned with a modern layout that blended utility with clean aesthetics. One of the standout features? A striking new bar cabinet that now anchors the space and reflects the couple’s love for hosting. Outside, the home found a new rhythm. We designed a lush, landscaped garden and added a custom-built gazebo — a cozy outdoor retreat where quiet evenings or vibrant get-togethers could unfold effortlessly.

The Ask

Rosa and Kiran weren’t looking for opulence. They wanted honesty in design — a home that respected its past, worked for the present, and would grow with them in the years to come. They valued function over frills, and soul over surface. Their ask was clear: preserve the warmth, clear the clutter, and craft spaces that invite pause and connection.

The Results

Rosa at Milford Terraces now stands as a quiet celebration of thoughtful living. With minimal interiors, intentional civil upgrades, and deeply personal touches, the home feels both refreshed and rooted. For Rosa and Kiran, it’s not just a renovation — it’s a reimagination of what “home” truly means. And for us, it was a privilege to help bring that vision to life.
